About the role
Amentum is seeking a DDC Technician to support a US Navy water systems program on Diego Garcia. The role involves inspections, surveys, data reviews, and corrective actions to maintain and certify water system operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support inspections, surveys, and data reviews for the Certificate to Operate (CTO) process as defined in CNIC M-5090.1A.
- Conduct sanitary surveys and assess water systems for health or regulatory compliance issues.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and gather accurate data for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Update the Requirements Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) with corrective actions and improvements.
- Identify and implement corrective actions to address deficiencies highlighted during surveys or inspections.
- Review documentation and prepare reports to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date water system performance data.
- Maintain proper regulatory documentation and support the CTO review process.
- Assist with ongoing performance evaluations, testing, and maintenance of water systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry standards and CNIC M-5090.1A guidelines.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in inspection, assessment, maintenance, and compliance of water systems or related technical systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Certificate to Operate (CTO) review processes and CNIC M-5090.1A guidelines.
- Experience conducting sanitary surveys, creating assessments, and handling RFIs.
- Strong documentation skills, including POAM updates.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
