Electrical Engineering Manager (Wind Energy)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design and execution of wind farm projects in Hyderabad. You will be the technical bridge between the engineering team, consultants, and project stakeholders, ensuring all solutions meet regulatory and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project designs, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and grid regulations.
• Coordinate engineering consultants, review and approve design documents and equipment test reports.
• Conduct load flow, short‑circuit, and power system studies for wind farms.
• Represent the engineering team in project meetings and presentations.
• Support cost estimation, financial modelling, and feasibility analysis for new wind energy projects.

Required profile

• B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in wind farm electrical design, substations, and EHV transmission (up to 400 kV).
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility standards.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and continuous technical improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETAP.
• Proficiency in PSCAD.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Expertise in HV/MV/EHV electrical systems for wind projects.
