Entry Level Network QA Engineer – Field Testing (3G/4G/5G)

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Network QA Engineer to join our field testing team. You will work on LTE and 5G protocols, performing hands‑on validation of user equipment in live networks across multiple US locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field testing (≈80% of time) in vehicles and on‑site, with occasional office work.
• Translate customer requirements into system specifications and detailed test designs.
• Analyze product and feature performance, evaluate new releases, and troubleshoot issues from labs, field sites, and production networks.
• Provide recommendations to improve UE performance by trending KPIs, running trials, and delivering optimization guidelines.
• Develop and execute test plans, assess risk items, and travel up to 25% of the time.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end LTE and 5G network architecture.
• Familiarity with UE log post‑processing tools and OTA signaling messages.
• Previous experience with LTE/5G field testing, SIM OTA activation, and IMS feature analysis.
