About the role
Join Yara East Africa Ltd as a Finance Intern and support the Finance Department in delivering accurate financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Controller, gaining hands‑on experience in payment processing, reconciliation and reporting within a leading fertilizer and environmental solutions company.
Key responsibilities
- Support the customer order unblocking process to ensure smooth and timely order processing.
- Assist with payment posting and allocation, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of customer payments.
- Perform bank, staff debtor and supplier reconciliations.
- Upload payments into the SUN system and allocate them correctly.
- Collaborate with the Finance Controller to prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Required profile
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in English.
- Positive can‑do attitude, quick learner and attention to detail.
