Floor Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Floor Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant restaurant in Nairobi. The successful candidate will ensure a seamless guest experience by coordinating staff, maintaining service standards, and collaborating closely with the kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule front‑of‑house staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address service issues promptly, and implement corrective actions.
• Train new and existing team members on service protocols, safety standards, and brand values.
• Work with kitchen personnel to synchronize order flow and maintain efficient workflow.
• Uphold operational standards, including cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly to keep the floor running smoothly.

Required profile

• Strong background in customer service and a proven ability to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective staff coordination.
• Experience in operations management within a hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated capability to lead training initiatives and develop team performance.
• Organizational and problem‑solving abilities to handle on‑floor challenges.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field is preferred.
