General Ledger Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented General Ledger Specialist to join Keda Ceramics, a leading ceramics manufacturer. The role supports finance operations and ensures accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts accurately and timely.
• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly financial activities.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Assist with external and internal audits by preparing supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or finance operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
