Mobility Finance Manager

About the role

M-KOPA Kenya Mobility Limited is building the financial backbone of a fast‑growing electric‑vehicle financing business. As the Mobility Finance Manager you will own the full financial management of this standalone entity, shaping both reporting and commercial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management reporting pack, CFO‑level commentary and IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss modelling.
• Manage end‑to‑end month‑end close including accruals, pre‑payments, inter‑company transactions, depreciation and FX.
• Produce variance analysis that isolates brand‑mix effects and one‑off items.
• Monitor the loan book, analyse repayment behaviour, and own provisioning and bad‑debt trends.
• Lead lender reporting, covenant compliance, drawdown documentation and support due‑diligence processes.
• Partner with the commercial team to model OEM economics, assess new product launches and supply agreements, and build financial cases for board presentations and grant proposals.
• Design and implement finance tools, automation opportunities and internal controls.

Required profile

• Hands‑on finance professional with experience building finance functions in high‑growth environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into commercial insights.
• Experience working with lenders, treasury and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of managing month‑end close and financial reporting for a standalone entity.
