Graduate Internship – Enterprise Development (RANGE Program)

About the role

Mercy Corps is seeking graduate interns to support the Enterprise Development – RANGE Program in Westlands, Kenya. Interns will assist in building private‑sector partnerships, conducting market and financial analyses, and contributing to the implementation and monitoring of development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and profile potential private‑sector partners, entrepreneurs and market actors through market scans and stakeholder mapping.
• Conduct basic financial and market analysis of business opportunities and partnership proposals.
• Track work plans, milestones, budgets and deliverables; collect performance data and prepare progress reports.
• Facilitate collaboration among private‑sector partners, county governments, local implementing partners and community institutions.
• Document emerging business opportunities, lessons learned and success stories to support knowledge‑sharing events.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with interest in enterprise development and private‑sector engagement.
• Ability to conduct basic financial and market analysis and synthesize findings.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor work plans and performance data.
• Commitment to Mercy Corps’ learning, accountability and safeguarding principles.
