Grants and Awards Intern

About the role

The Grants and Awards Intern will support the Awards Management team in coordinating all award‑related activities and partner engagements. Working closely with the Awards Assistant, Head of Awards and the Partnership Coordinator, the intern will help ensure timely processing, monitoring and reporting of grants and sub‑awards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and upload award documentation at the proposal stage, run related workflows in the Awards Management System (AMS).
• Assist in organising monthly award and partner review meetings, record action points and circulate minutes.
• Support partner vetting, assessments, agreement preparation, payments and monitoring visits.
• Maintain income, funding and close‑out trackers; provide weekly status updates to the team.
• Populate and share partner reporting trackers and keep AMS data current and audit‑ready.
• Send calendar invites, track action items from award‑led meetings and produce monthly portfolio analysis reports.
• Help ensure donor compliance with reporting deadlines, amendment procedures and audit requirements.
