About the role
The Head of Commercial Credit will lead the overall quality and administration of the commercial loan portfolio. This senior position balances loan growth with sound credit quality and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative culture.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain credit policies and procedures.
- Conduct complex credit reviews and ensure underwriting consistency.
- Manage portfolio risk and monitor credit performance.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to underwriting and credit staff.
- Partner closely with commercial lending teams to support loan growth.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop credit teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in banking.
