Homeschool Facilitator (Part‑time)

About the role

The Northern Home Education Center is seeking a part‑time Homeschool Facilitator to support families during the 2026‑27 school year. This role involves guiding parents as they design and deliver their child’s education at home, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with families to develop and complete individualized educational program plans.
• Identify, source, and recommend appropriate educational resources and support services.
• Lead family engagement activities and create learning opportunities that enhance home‑based instruction.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication records throughout the school year.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Supportive, encouraging approach when working with families.
• Understanding of home‑education philosophies and best practices.
• Ability to work 10 hours per week from September 2026 to May 30, 2027.
