Investment Support Associate (Kenya)

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking an Investment Support Associate to join its Kenya team in Dadaab. The associate will play a key role in supporting refugee and local entrepreneurs by managing the pipeline of investment applicants, conducting due diligence, and ensuring smooth portfolio management.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and manage investment pipelines, respond to borrower inquiries, and guide entrepreneurs through application processes.
• Introduce investment products, explain repayment terms, and assess eligibility.
• Conduct investment appraisals, gather personal and business information, and open new investment accounts.
• Prepare investment contracts, coordinate with Business Development Advisors, and follow up on disbursements.
• Maintain a healthy portfolio by conducting site visits, preparing credit reports for Investment Committee meetings, and ensuring compliance with conditions.
• Capture entrepreneur stories, obtain photo waivers, and upload accurate information to the Kiva fundraising platform.
• Provide daily customer service through conversations, correspondence, and on‑site support.

Required profile

• Strong interest in supporting entrepreneurs, especially displaced persons and women.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel for site visits and conduct thorough due diligence.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and reporting.
