Manager, Product Management

About the role

Living Goods is seeking a Manager, Product Management to lead the product portfolio of digital health innovations across sub‑Saharan Africa. The role is hands‑on, combining product strategy, cross‑functional stakeholder management, and team leadership within the Global Software Engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional leadership and program teams to shape and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and field evidence.
• Lead product discovery for assigned initiatives, including user research, problem framing, and requirements definition with program teams, field users, and government partners.
• Serve as the primary interface between program/country stakeholders and the Global Software Engineering team, facilitating requirements gathering and managing competing priorities.
• Drive the product development cycle across multiple concurrent initiatives, from early prototyping to scale‑readiness and government handoff.
• Champion an evidence‑driven approach, using iterative testing and structured learning cycles to decide whether to continue, adapt, or stop initiatives.
• Develop detailed functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Proven ability to lead product management efforts across a diverse portfolio of digital health solutions.
• Strong portfolio thinking and evidence‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Experience collaborating with program, engineering, and country teams in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives at different stages of maturity.
