Outlet Supervisor – Outdoor Dining

About the role

The Outlet Supervisor will lead the outdoor dining experiences at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, ensuring each banquet and special function runs flawlessly in spectacular natural settings. This role blends operational oversight with guest‑focused service to create memorable moments under the African sky.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain banquet cleanliness and oversee all maintenance requirements.
• Schedule guest reservations and coordinate private functions or special parties.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure high‑quality service standards are consistently met.
• Perform daily checks on staffing levels, quality control, and venue maintenance.
• Execute table checks and update the communication board to keep the team informed.
• Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations and report any suspicious activity to security.
• Control stock levels, manage breakage, waste and spoilage, and ensure supplies meet service requirements.
• Supervise, coordinate and direct the tea service and other outlet staff throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising banquet or outdoor dining operations in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong ability to enforce standard procedures, health & safety rules, and service sequences.
• Excellent guest‑service orientation with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• Effective team leadership and coordination skills across culinary, service, maintenance and security teams.
