Part-Time Pilates Instructor

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a part-time Pilates instructor in Lavington. The instructor delivers Mat and/or Reformer sessions for individuals and small groups, designs progressive programmes and builds long-term client relationships. Pay is KShs 1,500-2,000 per session.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, guide and run safe, engaging Pilates sessions (Mat and/or Reformer) for individuals and small groups
• Design customised programmes from beginner fundamentals to advanced, high-intensity sequences
• Correct form with verbal cues, tactile adjustments and modifications to prevent injury
• Assess new clients' posture, flexibility and core strength, then track their progress and goals
• Create a welcoming, motivating studio environment that encourages client retention
• Keep equipment clean and sanitized, follow emergency protocols and stick to the studio timetable

Required profile

• Certified Pilates instructor from a globally recognised body such as STOTT PILATES, BASI Pilates, Balanced Body or an equivalent elite international body
• Active, valid CPR and First Aid certification
• At least 2 years of active teaching experience as a Pilates instructor, preferably in a boutique studio, luxury wellness centre or premium fitness facility

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of anatomy, core stabilisation, breathing methods and visual alignment
• Ability to move smoothly between one-on-one personal training and group studio settings
