Pension Fund Accounting & Compliance Assistant

About the role

This position supports the accurate financial administration and regulatory compliance of pension fund operations. You will assist with accounting tasks, maintain essential records, and ensure adherence to relevant laws and internal policies, contributing to the overall integrity and efficiency of fund management.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and sponsors, delivering policy documents and deeds of adherence within required timelines.
• Process endorsement change requests to scheme contracts following established procedures.
• Continuously clean and validate client personal information to maintain data quality.
• Maintain the integrity of scheme transactions, documentary support, and fund statements.
• Perform regular pension account reconciliations for member and scheme balances.
• Issue accurate member and scheme statements on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Provide prompt customer service by responding to client queries and resolving CRM requests.
• Carry out any other duties assigned as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar pension fund or financial compliance role.
• Knowledge of RBA regulatory requirements and pension industry concepts.
