Petroleum Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to oversee oil and gas extraction projects, both offshore and onshore. The role involves designing drilling plans, analysing geological data, and ensuring smooth operation of extraction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule drilling and fracturing activities for offshore and onshore sites.
• Analyse geological and reservoir data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Research and propose new extraction methods and identify new oil and gas reservoirs.
• Use and maintain drilling and fracturing equipment.
• Determine project budgets and resource requirements.
• Supervise and train technical staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and other engineers to evaluate geological features.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to various locations.
• Solid mathematical skills for modelling and data interpretation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided modelling tools.
• Experience operating and maintaining drilling and fracturing equipment.
• Knowledge of oil and gas extraction processes.
