Program Governance Specialist for YEFFA Program

About the role

The Specialist – Program Governance will serve as the backbone of the YEFFA Portfolio Management Hub, ensuring that the programme’s governance structures operate smoothly across AGRA’s ten YEFFA countries. You will coordinate the Program Steering Group, Strategic Advisory Group and Coordination & Collaboration Committee, guaranteeing that strategic decisions are documented, tracked and translated into effective action.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and document the activities of the Programme Steering Group, Strategic Advisory Group and Coordination & Collaboration Committee.
• Maintain governance calendars, schedule high‑level meetings and prepare briefing materials.
• Track implementation of resolutions, action points and feedback loops between oversight bodies and operational teams.
• Ensure alignment between strategic decisions, operational delivery and institutional accountability across all YEFFA countries.
• Provide logistical support for governance processes, including meeting facilitation and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Proven experience in programme governance, coordination or similar roles within development or agricultural sectors.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple governance bodies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of preparing concise briefs and reports.
• Ability to work across several countries and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
