About the role
The Programme Management Officer will support the Conduct and Discipline Service within the Administrative Law Division of the Office of Human Resources. Based in Nairobi, the role contributes to the implementation of UN conduct standards and the delivery of strategic programmes that promote accountability and ethical behaviour across the Secretariat.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and evaluate assigned programmes and projects.
- Monitor and analyse programme progress and implementation outcomes.
- Review relevant documents and reports to ensure compliance with UN standards.
- Identify problems or issues and initiate corrective actions.
- Support the Conduct and Discipline Service in policy implementation and disciplinary matters.
Required profile
- Proven experience in programme or project management within an international or public‑sector environment.
- Familiarity with United Nations conduct standards and administrative law processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior officials and staff across the Secretariat.
