About the role
The Project Coordinator (Master Trainer) will lead the delivery of the NYOTA Business Development Services (BDS) package to refugee youths in Dadaab, ensuring training is practical, inclusive and of high quality. Working under the Task Team Leader, the role supports youth entrepreneurship and economic resilience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and quality‑assure the NYOTA BDS curriculum across assigned locations, ensuring consistent methodology and standards.
- Facilitate practical, participant‑centred BDS sessions covering financial literacy, marketing, business planning and digital tools.
- Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT), assess trainer readiness, observe deliveries and provide coaching and structured feedback.
- Coordinate with mentors, collect and analyse feedback, and recommend adaptations to improve training outcomes.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance documentation and submit progress reports in line with NRC requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship, business management, economics, development studies or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience implementing business development or entrepreneurship programmes, including training delivery.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili; knowledge of Swahili, Arabic, French or other local languages is an advantage.
- Experience working in Kenyan refugee settings (Kakuma, Kalobeyei or Dadaab) is highly desirable.
