About the role
inSupply Health is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a donor‑funded, multi‑country initiative starting 1 January 2027. The project aims to improve access to quality‑assured maternal and newborn health products across Kenya and other participating countries.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, translate project objectives into measurable results and establish governance mechanisms.
- Oversee country‑level planning, implementation, and delivery of milestones, ensuring quality and timely outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, government ministries, consortium partners and other stakeholders, promoting local ownership.
- Manage financial resources, monitor budgets, forecasts and ensure compliance with donor agreements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, set performance expectations and foster an inclusive, accountable environment.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical and safeguarding standards, and oversee risk management.
- Guide monitoring, evaluation, learning and knowledge‑sharing activities to inform adaptive management.
- Drive sustainability, scale‑up and transition planning for long‑term impact.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Extensive experience leading large‑scale health‑sector projects, preferably in supply chain or maternal‑newborn health.
- Proven ability to work with governments, donors and multi‑partner consortia.
- Strong financial stewardship and risk‑management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

- Knowledge of health supply chain systems and MNH product regulations.
