About the role

KUPA-KENYA is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its national insurance sales operations. The role focuses on driving membership growth, overseeing field sales teams, and expanding market presence across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement the national sales strategy to meet membership and revenue targets.
  • Translate targets into regional, unit and agent performance plans.
  • Monitor sales performance through dashboards and conduct regular reviews.
  • Lead a multi‑level sales structure including regional managers, unit managers, supervisors, team leaders and agents.
  • Identify high‑potential markets and support the launch of new sales offices.
  • Oversee daily field deployment, market storms, roadshows and community activation activities.
  • Promote cross‑selling of funeral cover add‑ons and food basket programs to increase ARPU.
  • Maintain high agent productivity through commission structures, recognition programs and career pathways.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in leading large sales teams, preferably in insurance or related financial services.
  • Strong track record of achieving national sales and membership growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret performance data and drive improvements.
  • Ability to travel frequently across regions and manage multiple offices.
