About the role
The Sales Representative will manage daily market activities with distributors, visit existing and potential outlets, and drive sales growth within an assigned territory. The role requires close collaboration with distributors to ensure product availability, pricing compliance, and execution of promotional activities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct daily morning market planning sessions with distributors and be present at their premises before market visits.
- Visit assigned outlets to achieve sales targets, maintain product availability, and identify accessibility gaps.
- Promote adherence to Recommended Retail Price (RRP) guidelines across channels and outlet types.
- Negotiate, plan, and execute promotional activations in line with the territory sales plan.
- Maintain accurate customer visit hit rates, order quantities, and values.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with distributors and customers.
- Provide regular reports on customer needs, competitive activity, and sales opportunities.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly in coordination with area management.
- Collaborate with distributors to enforce minimum execution standards.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Business‑related diploma or degree, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a field sales role.
- Willingness to relocate and reside within the assigned market.
