About the role
The SDS Program Coordinator works with the Assistant Director to administer Self‑Directed (SD) Fiscal Intermediary services. This role ensures budgets are managed, billing is timely, and all Medicaid and corporate compliance requirements are met for individuals receiving self‑directed supports.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and audit SD budgets, ensuring all documentation is complete and up‑to‑date.
- Process billing, payroll, and related financial transactions in accordance with Department of Labor, Medicaid, and Springbrook guidelines.
- Provide person‑first, respectful communication with individuals, families, staff, and community partners.
- Coordinate service‑plan elements with individuals and their Circle of Support (COS) team.
- Report compliance incidents promptly and complete required documentation.
- Support new‑employee orientation and ongoing training for SD staff.
- Attend launch, life‑plan, and COS meetings, both in person and via phone.
- Assist individuals with HR‑related questions as the employer of record.
- Monitor budgets for payroll and expenditure issues, notifying stakeholders of potential overages.
- Collaborate with administrative assistants to obtain outstanding documentation for regulatory compliance.
