Senior DevOps Engineer – Production Support (Azure/AKS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high‑growth sustainable energy company in the United States. The role is fully remote within the LATAM region and focuses on maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure that powers clean‑energy and solar‑storage solutions across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production systems, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), micro‑services, and CI/CD pipelines, using advanced dashboards and proactive alerting.
• Act as the primary technical responder for live incidents, triaging, identifying root causes, and driving rapid resolution.
• Maintain and enhance runbooks and standard operating procedures to ensure operational predictability.
• Support deployment activities across production and non‑production environments while adhering to SLAs.
• Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to eliminate recurring systemic issues and improve platform reliability.
• Design and implement automation scripts to reduce manual operational toil.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or high‑stakes production support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals, especially Compute, Networking, and Monitoring services.
• Hands‑on experience operating Kubernetes clusters, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proven ability to work under strict SLA guidelines and manage incident escalations.
