About the role
Keyrus is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Architect specialized in Data Vault 2.0 to design, evolve and optimise enterprise‑scale data platforms for its clients. You will operate at the intersection of data architecture, engineering and business, delivering scalable and future‑proof data ecosystems in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions following the Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
- Develop and optimise Hubs, Links, Satellites, PIT and Bridge tables.
- Lead conceptual, logical and physical data‑modelling activities across multiple initiatives.
- Define and promote data‑architecture standards, modelling guidelines, naming conventions and documentation practices.
- Ensure scalability, performance, reliability and maintainability of data‑warehouse architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Data Engineers and development teams.
- Drive standardisation and automation of ELT processes, metadata management and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Governance teams and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Support reporting and analytics teams by delivering optimised, business‑ready data structures.
- Implement best practices for data governance, lineage, metadata management and DataOps.
- Define monitoring, validation and observability processes across the data platform.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the overall data‑architecture landscape.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouses using Data Vault 2.0.
- Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data‑modelling techniques.
- Ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural guidance.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in driving ELT automation, metadata management and DataOps practices.

What we offer
- Fully remote work based in Portugal.
- Fixed‑term employee contract or B2B engagement.
- Compensation: €300–€500 per day (B2B) or €50,000–€60,000 gross per year (employee contract).
