Senior QA Engineer (Web)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to ensure the reliability and quality of business‑critical web features from technical hand‑off through production release. The role is fully remote and will work closely with product, front‑end, back‑end and architecture teams in a globally distributed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive quality assurance for web features, from specification review to successful production release.
• Design and execute functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross‑browser, responsive and end‑to‑end API tests.
• Validate applications across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and mobile‑responsive viewports.
• Perform API testing using REST and GraphQL, including test‑data preparation.
• Support and contribute to test automation initiatives using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, test cases and checklists.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and architects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate production releases, conduct smoke and regression testing, and monitor live performance.
• Investigate defects with browser developer tools and debugging proxies.
• Track and improve QA metrics such as escaped defect rates and test coverage.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in web quality assurance.
• Strong ability to own testing strategy and deliver high‑quality releases.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, international setting.
