Travel & Tours Marketer

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Marketer for its travel and tours business, based in CBD University Way, Nairobi. The role combines field marketing and lead generation with digital promotion across social media and online channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services.
• Carry out field marketing to identify and acquire new customers, and visit potential clients, businesses, institutions and partners.
• Generate, follow up and convert leads into customers, and build relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Manage the company's presence on social media and create digital content such as posts, captions, graphics, photos and short videos.
• Support digital advertising and online promotional campaigns, and respond professionally to customer inquiries.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and market trends, and take part in campaigns, activations, exhibitions and promotional events.
• Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, leads, customer acquisition and campaign performance, and work toward assigned targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, digital marketing or a related field.
• Experience in a travel agency or tourism business is an added advantage; other relevant experience is also welcome.

Required skills

• Demonstrated experience in field marketing and/or digital marketing.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing practices.
• Ability to generate leads and turn prospects into customers.
• Knowledge of social media advertising, analytics and content creation is an added advantage.
