Video Editor – Creative Digital Content

About the role

We are seeking a talented Video Editor based in Kenya to transform raw footage into polished, engaging visual content that supports marketing initiatives and client projects. You will work closely with marketing and project teams to bring creative briefs to life across a variety of digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into professional content for marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects.
• Develop compelling visual narratives through pacing, sequencing, transitions, and storytelling techniques.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, animations, sound effects, and other visual elements to enhance the final product.
• Collaborate with marketing and project teams to understand objectives, target audiences, and brand requirements.
• Adapt and optimize video content for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital channels.
• Maintain organized project files, footage, and assets for efficient collaboration.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions while ensuring creative consistency.
• Stay updated on emerging video editing trends, formats, tools, and techniques.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing editing and storytelling abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and contributing to a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Final Cut Pro.
• Proficiency with After Effects.
• Understanding of visual storytelling, composition, pacing, and audience engagement.
• Knowledge of video formats and specifications for major social media platforms.
