Wheel Loader Operator – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a disciplined and safety‑focused Wheel Loader Operator to join our Engineering – Construction team in Miwani‑Kisumu. The role involves operating a wheel loader to support construction, loading and material‑handling activities while maintaining high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the wheel loader safely and efficiently on the construction site.
• Load, move and transport construction materials as required.
• Perform daily machine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Report any mechanical faults, damages or safety risks promptly.
• Follow company safety procedures and engineering operational guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of the equipment.
• Assist other engineering and construction tasks when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating a wheel loader in a construction environment.
• Valid driving licence – Class G; Class BCE is an advantage.
• Heavy‑equipment operation certificate or relevant training.
• Good understanding of construction site safety.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
