Access Field Manager

About the role

The Access Field Manager will drive regional and hospital access strategies for priority products, translating national plans into actionable field initiatives and ensuring patient access across key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional and hospital access plans for priority products.
• Translate national and therapeutic area access strategies into clear field actions.
• Identify access barriers and define practical mitigation plans.
• Monitor access status, listings, and positioning across key accounts.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with hospital, regional, payer, wholesaler, and distributor stakeholders.
• Lead or support negotiations to secure access, tendering, and formulary inclusion.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align field activities with launch, lifecycle, and healthcare system readiness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate account data, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and local regulations.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in market access, field access, or related healthcare roles within complex healthcare systems.
• University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics or a related discipline; advanced degree desirable.
• Experience working with hospitals, payers, regional health authorities, or similar stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, access pathways, reimbursement, formulary, tendering and launch processes.
