About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Nairobi’s Westlands district. The role involves managing daily bookkeeping, preparing tax returns and supporting audit processes for a company operating in the banking and finance sector.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and organize financial vouchers and supporting documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Perform other related tasks assigned by management.
Required profile
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
