Accounting Lecturer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Lecturer to join our faculty at Excel Global College in Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver ACCA courses, mentor students and contribute to the continuous improvement of our curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures for ACCA Knowledge, Skills and Professional level papers, focusing on Taxation, Financial Reporting, Financial Management and related subjects.
• Prepare, update and grade teaching materials, assessments and exam papers.
• Provide academic support, mentorship and guidance to students throughout their studies.
• Stay current with the ACCA syllabus, exam requirements and industry developments.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning and quality assurance activities.

Required profile

• ACCA or CPA qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant teaching or lecturing experience, preferably with ACCA programmes.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and standard computer applications.
