Adjunct Lecturer – Pharmaceutical Management

About the role
The University seeks an Adjunct Lecturer to lead its Pharmaceutical Management program while supporting the institution’s fundraising and partnership initiatives. The role blends academic instruction with strategic grant development to advance the university’s mission.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify local, regional, and international grant opportunities aligned with university priorities.
- Develop high‑quality grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications.
- Coordinate proposal development with academic schools, research teams, and administrative departments.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, corporate partners, development agencies, alumni, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Support fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives, and prepare compelling cases for support, donor reports, and impact stories.
- Maintain accurate donor, grant, and fundraising databases and monitor performance metrics.
- Organise fundraising events, CSR programmes, and donor stewardship activities.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for fundraising initiatives.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective partners to ensure alignment with university policies.
- Prepare periodic reports on fundraising performance, grants, and partnership outcomes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Public Relations, Project Management or a related field.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, partnership development, business development or resource mobilization.
- Demonstrated success in developing grant proposals and fundraising initiatives.
- Experience with donor‑funded programmes, NGOs, higher‑education institutions or development organisations is an advantage.
