About the role
The International Trade Centre seeks an Administrative Assistant to support the Africa Regional Director (EAC) and the DCP Director in Geneva. The role combines office management, HR, finance and contract administration to ensure smooth operations of the regional office.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive office management and administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements and document handling.
- Administer human‑resource processes such as time‑keeping, performance appraisal data and staffing tables.
- Monitor budget expenditures, update financial tables, and prepare basic financial reports.
- Assist with contract administration, invoice verification and processing of payments for external contractors.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; qualification in administration, finance or accounting is desirable.
- At least five years of experience in administrative services, finance, accounting, audit or HR, including support to senior leadership.
- Proficiency in English and French.
- Experience with data analytics, ERP systems and working in regional or international organisations.
Required skills
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Data analytics capabilities.
