AI Domain Architect

About the role

Join the AI Domain team to encode deep PEO and HCM business knowledge into AI systems, ensuring every AI capability reasons correctly about payroll, benefits, compliance and related domains.

Key responsibilities

• Own the canonical ontology that spans all PrismHR platforms, defining entities, relationships, business rules and terminology.
• Model agentic workflows, setting tool boundaries, decision points, escalation paths and human‑in‑the‑loop checkpoints.
• Define fine‑tuning strategy, dataset curation standards and domain‑specific evaluation harnesses.
• Build and maintain an intelligence pattern library of retrieval strategies, reasoning templates and validation guards.
• Collaborate with product teams from design through go‑live, advising on feasibility, risk and escalation of domain‑AI design questions.
• Contribute to standards, governance and AI Domain Committee recommendations.

Required profile

• 8+ years building production software, including staff/principal/architect level experience.
• Practical experience designing ontologies, knowledge graphs or canonical domain models shipped in production.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM‑based or agentic systems and fine‑tuning, RAG or model evaluation pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure compute/data/identity/networking for AI workloads.
• Proven ability to take a pattern from concept through proof‑of‑concept to published standard.
• Strong written communication for documenting ontologies, patterns and decision records.

Required skills

• Ontology and knowledge‑graph design (OWL, RDF, SHACL, property graphs).
• LLM development, fine‑tuning, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and model evaluation.
• Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI services, Microsoft Agent Framework, MCP.
• Snowflake Cortex AI and broader AI platform integration.
• Multi‑tenant SaaS security (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
