Functional Consultant

About the role

ABN Consulting Group is seeking a Functional Consultant to lead end‑to‑end Odoo ERP implementations for its growing portfolio of African SMEs. The role combines business analysis, functional configuration and full project ownership from kickoff through go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Engage clients to understand and document business processes, workflows and requirements.
• Configure and customise Odoo modules to meet validated functional specifications.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, including planning, documentation, UAT coordination, training and go‑live sign‑off.
• Collaborate with technical consultants to define development requirements.
• Support data migration activities, including field mapping and validation.
• Contribute to pre‑sales activities by advising on solution scope and implementation effort.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering ERP software implementations.
• Proven ability to analyse, map and document business processes and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to manage projects independently.
