Architecture Manager (MA)

About the role

The Architecture Manager will lead design, supervision and implementation of construction projects across Africa. Reporting to both the Head of Country & Business Development and the Head of Architecture, you will ensure projects meet client expectations, technical standards and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of design, build and fit‑out projects from initiation to hand‑over.
• Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and align specifications with their vision.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets; monitor progress and control costs.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Participate in monthly online Command Centre meetings and contribute to policy formation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards while handling sensitive information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Construction.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design, project management and construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
