Benefits Supervisor

About the role

EPAY Systems, a Vensure Employer Solutions company, provides SaaS human capital management software for small to enterprise businesses, including benefits administration, payroll, onboarding and HR management. As Benefits Supervisor, you will guarantee good client service and support the Administration team with calls, emails and live chat, talking to clients, employees and carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and respond to inbound escalated calls, emails and live chat inquiries
• Troubleshoot and research to resolve requests
• Resolve complaints and issues, escalating them to supervisors and managers when needed
• Use the internal knowledgebase to answer inquiries quickly
• Inform clients and employees about their current benefits and help them set up plans and maintain coverage continuity
• Contact carriers to resolve issues with employee benefits and active plans

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional office environment
• Previous experience in customer service, a call center, PEO, payroll, taxes, benefits or human resources is a bonus
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for a degree

• Knowledge of customer service best practices
• Skilled in documentation and note-taking during calls
• Excellent data entry skills
• Proficient English writing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and with various personalities
