Business Development Officer – Multiple Regions (Kenya)

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth for Rapidcash Ventures across Nairobi, the Nyanza and Western regions, as well as Kiambu, Njoro, Gilil and Lessos. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining existing relationships and meeting disbursement, collection and active‑customer targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through targeted marketing initiatives.
• Maintain a portfolio of clients by providing timely follow‑up and high‑quality customer service.
• Achieve monthly disbursement, collection and active‑customer targets in line with company goals.
• Review open accounts and coordinate collection efforts.
• Process customer payments according to due dates and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Deliver consistent customer service, conduct due‑diligence and manage information desk duties.
• Perform general administrative tasks related to the business development function.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 24 months of experience in business development, sales or related banking/finance roles.
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition and portfolio management.
• Ability to meet quantitative targets and follow standard operating procedures.
