About the role
Oshwal Academy, a private international school offering the British Curriculum from preschool to Year 13, is seeking a Business Studies Teacher. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Business Studies lessons to secondary students and preparing them for national examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Business Studies lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations, conduct assessments and grade papers.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Develop and update curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Business Studies or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in Business Studies.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Experience with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
Required skills
- Effective teaching and classroom management.
- Exam preparation and grading.
- Curriculum development.
