About the role
The Business Supervisor will act as the primary representative of the company in Kisumu, linking external public relations with internal operations. This position requires a trustworthy, proactive professional capable of navigating local government structures and driving project‑based initiatives to achieve business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Establish, cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with Kisumu government agencies, regulatory bodies and local institutional partners.
- Coordinate internal project‑based initiatives, ensuring tasks are planned, tracked and delivered on time through cross‑departmental collaboration.
- Monitor local regulatory updates and apply legal principles to protect the company’s interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- Engage with local social and business networks to identify opportunities, represent the company in external forums and resolve administrative bottlenecks.
Required profile
- Proven network and active connections within Kisumu, with a track record of working directly with government agencies or key institutional contacts.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience in project management or a background in legal affairs/law is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
