About the role

The Channel Account Manager will develop, manage and grow strategic relationships with resellers, distributors and technology partners across East Africa. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will drive business growth by expanding market reach and aligning partners with Exclusive Networks’ objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit and develop new channel partners to increase market presence.
  • Conduct account mapping with partners to uncover key customers, deals and cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing to launch campaigns, promotions and incentive programs.
  • Ensure smooth execution of business processes, deal registrations and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer demand to generate new business opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to opportunity development and deal closure.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, IT or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in channel sales, account or partner management within the IT industry.
  • Proven track record managing reseller and distributor relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian IT market and channel ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with vendor programs, incentives and channel partner enablement strategies.
  • Ability to manage key accounts, track performance and develop business strategies.
  • Financial acumen with understanding of pricing, margins and revenue targets.
