About the role
Oshwal Academy, a private international school in Nairobi, is seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will deliver the British Curriculum to students from pre‑school through Year 13, fostering a strong understanding of chemistry concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare, administer and grade examinations and assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and provide a safe learning environment.
- Develop and update curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and school initiatives.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Chemistry education (B.Ed. or equivalent Bachelor’s degree).
- Minimum four years of teaching experience in chemistry.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Kenya.
- Experience teaching the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
