About the role

The Muraga Technical Training Institute is seeking a dedicated Cosmetology Trainer to join its education team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves delivering high‑quality cosmetology training to students and supporting the institute’s mission of technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver classroom and practical sessions in cosmetology.
• Develop and update training materials, lesson plans and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback and maintain records of progress.
• Ensure training facilities and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
• Collaborate with other instructors to align curricula with industry standards.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Building and Technology.
• Strong pedagogical skills and a proven ability to teach technical subjects.
• Excellent communication in English.
