Customer Experience & Marketing Intern (Delivery & Digital Platforms)

About the role

Join Java House Africa Ltd as a Customer Experience & Marketing Intern, supporting the delivery and digital platforms team in Nairobi. You will help capture, analyse and act on guest feedback across multiple channels, while assisting the marketing team with brand monitoring and loyalty program performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and log guest feedback from social media, delivery apps, calls, emails and in‑person interactions.
• Organise feedback data for tracking, follow‑up and reporting.
• Analyse trends, identify recurring issues and prepare weekly/monthly insight reports for management.
• Monitor brand mentions on digital platforms and support community‑engagement initiatives.
• Oversee daily operations on third‑party delivery platforms, ensuring menu accuracy, pricing, promotions and flagging operational issues.
• Track loyalty‑program metrics (sign‑ups, usage, engagement) and assist with testing and updates.
• Support research on competitors, aggregator campaigns and pricing.
• Provide administrative assistance for presentations, reports and campaign tracking.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisational ability to manage multiple data sources and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Google Sheets
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools (bonus)
• Experience using social‑media platforms for customer engagement
