About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie will support the Executive Chef in delivering high‑quality meals at Safari Park Hotel. Working in a fast‑paced kitchen, you will assist with food preparation, ordering, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with preparation of various dishes and menu items.
• Relay orders to station cooks and ensure timely execution of each menu item.
• Participate in ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling kitchen budgets.
• Support the enforcement of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Help present food attractively and ensure customers receive quality meals promptly.

Required profile

• Age between 25 and 35 years.
• Certificate or diploma in food production or culinary arts.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation, and hygiene standards.
• Organised, able to work under high stress and in rotating 24‑hour shifts.
