DevOps/MLOps Intern

About the role

Join our mission to make Pawa-Med™ run reliably across Africa. As a DevOps/MLOps Intern you will help build cloud‑native and edge‑optimized infrastructure that supports AI models in low‑resource clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment.
• Optimize model inference for edge devices and low‑resource environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for deployed models.
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up model versioning and experiment tracking with tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Ensure system reliability and uptime across multi‑region deployments.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Linux/bash and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience using Docker and basic container orchestration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Basic Python scripting and automation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
