Digital Marketing Manager – Retail

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the digital strategy for Majid Al Futtaim Retail in Kenya. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution of social and paid media campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and optimise digital social media and advertising campaigns for the Kenyan market.
• Collaborate with external agencies and vendor partners to ensure high‑quality creative and media delivery.
• Work closely with Commercial and Operations teams to align campaign timelines with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain the market’s social media presence in line with the central brand strategy.
• Monitor, measure and report on campaign performance, providing insights to improve ROI.
• Identify trends, adjust spend and recommend actions to boost productivity and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Visual Communications or Media.
• 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within retail.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
• Proven experience managing paid media channels.
• Experience working with external agencies.
