Electrical Technician – Nairobi

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems for our clients in the Energy & Utilities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and commission electrical wiring and equipment according to project specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and corrective repairs on electrical installations.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot electrical systems to minimise downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with EPRA regulations and safety standards.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related field.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical Technician.
• Valid EPRA licence or certification.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
